This song is about tailored education and how it is doctored to withhold the appalling history of colonialism and the atrocities it committed. We have been taught in schools what a great colonial nation Great Britain historically is, and that it was carried out for the benefit of others. But it deliberately fails to adequately recall the realities of slavery, the invasion, theft and erosion of other peoples' land and culture. "Whitewash the past".
